Trio employs
over 60 people to accomplish its mission to serve quality food
with friendly service in a beautiful environment. Teamwork and
cooperation are emphasized in all areas. Managers serve as
role models and it is the rule rather than the exception to
see managers assisting the hostess, the busboy, and the wait
staff to be sure that customers receive prompt friendly
service. Employees sometimes refer to their restaurant
“family” and when employees or customers experience
accomplishments or misfortune, they typically gather for
celebration or support.
Gary
“Cutt” Robinson is general manager and oversees all
operations. Gary has over 25 years experience in the food
service industry and has been general manager at Trio for over
10 years. He has been involved in planning and opening
restaurants in Virginia and North Carolina. He is adamant
about consistency, cleanliness and prompt service. Gary and
his wife, Deb, have two children, Dane and Lindsay. In his
spare time, he loves to work in his yard, be involved in
sports and take trips to the mountains. |

James “Jamey” Bailey as kitchen
manager is responsible for purchasing food, developing menus
and creating promotional menus and specials. He has been with
Trio since it opened and worked at Charleys in SouthPark Mall
prior to that, working closely with Gary throughout his
career. He has attended national restaurant meetings, worked
with consulting chefs and culinary graduates in his current
position. Jamey is committed to the customers and likes to
give people the food that they want whether traditional or
contemporary. Jamey is also committed to a healthy lifestyle –
healthy diet and plenty of exercise. In October he ran the 5K
for Breast Cancer, and is an avid Tarheel fan. |
